HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
In line with our commitment to our active GM's, we will give everyone an opportunity to bid for the following players: Atlanta Hawks - None as of the moment since they're winning despite "Pistol Pete" Maravich being awol this season. Boston Celtics - Everyone except Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum. The former being the designated franchise player, Tatum the Boston player, and future core. Dallas Mavericks - Everyone except Dirk Nowitzki, Harrison Barnes and Markelle Fultz. Denver Nuggets - Everyone.Detroit Pistons - None as of the moment. Doesn't make sense if we make DMC available when DET has his BR and able to pay him. Los Angeles Clippers - None as of the moment. They're winning, will probably ride free agents to the finish. Miami Heat - Everyone except Klay Thompson, Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic. Hard to get: Bam Adebayo, Josh Richardson and Udonis Haslem. (being Heat players). New Orleans Pelicans - Everyone except their starting five: George Hill, Khris Middleton, MKG, Kevin Love and Marcin Gortat. Two-time playoff team with a nice intact core and BR's. Needs to improve their bench as they're currently 4-8 as per standings. Philadelphia 76ers - Everyone except Isaiah Thomas. The last time I checked, Melo is a mercenary. Brook Lopez is in a one-year deal. Washington Wizards - Everyone except Damian Lillard. At 1-12, they would probably do something than retain the core of Val and Evan? How do we do this?1. We'll give you only 48 hours to bid for your desired player. 2. This will be done thru open bidding. Propose trade at Trade Central. Subject: Both teams name. 3. Since this is special consideration, only Ben Wallace and @maro will evaluate the trade. Basically you have to convince me why I should accept and pray if I reject it for Ben Wallace to pass. Ha ha ha!4. In case of multiple bids for a particular player, we Ben Wallace have to agree and give a 2-0 decision. Otherwise, it'll be determined by the TC's. or trash? 4.1 if I bid only Ben Wallace will give his decision. Not that I have any interest more than making the free agents available but never say never.5. Active GM's cannot extract a pick from bot teams. But you can trade your pick! 6. This is not a "first come, first served" basis. We'll let the 48 hours pass before evaluating the trade. One shot at doing a trade. Guidelines: 1. Make sure the trade is sound. Not because you're active we would simply give the player and transfer to you. 2. All trade rules apply. (i.e. salaries, etc.) I'm still looking after the best interest of bot teams.
3. All contentions / disputes will be handled by us Ben Wallace accordingly. This idea was suggested by Yours truly when we discussed the trade of LeBron James. This will give everyone a chance to nab a role / impact player or two from a bot team that could possibly help your team. If successful, we will do this at another time as we like to surprise on "periods". As such, this is in line with our narrative-based league for this season. Ps. In line of the recent trades, we will not allow a total makeover of a team via this method. I've been out of town and just got to look through this. Any chance we can extend the deadline on making an offer?

Trade Watch
Gordon Hayward is not happy in Charlotte. The unveiling of Charlotte's "Big Three" by the management did not bode well for Mr. Hayward. He felt very disrespected and would like to "move on" from his time in the Queen City. Whether his wish to get traded will be granted or not depends solely on Charlotte's management.
As of this moment, he doesn't want to return to Toronto or Utah after being let go and traded by both teams last season.

Gordon, you may want to join San Antonio? We have a lot of talent in this team and a young stud in Justin Jackson. Imagine a line-up of Rondo, DeRozan, Hayward, Crowder, and Jordan?

Off-season watch: James Harden
James "The Beard" Harden is not happy being traded. From being the "franchise player" to one wherein he have to share the ball with Curry who is fixated in Toronto for three years. He is frustrated with the Memphis Grizzlies for trading him, "I led them to the Finals last year," Harden said. "I thought of re-signing in Memphis with all their posturing but they dealt me away."
Harden is on a one-year deal and as much as he is excited to play with Curry, he said that "I'll look after my best interest". Noting that he is playing for his third team in three seasons. There's a murmur that it's "Conference Finals or else.." but of course it will depend on his fit with potential suitors as well.
In other news, there are two superstars who are grumbling privately about their situation as well. One hasn't taste the playoffs in two years, the other is complaining the lack of roster activity of his team. As one league insider said, "there will be major movements this off-season".

Monta Ellis not happy on him being "shut down" by the Spurs management.
Spencer Dinwiddie will probably re-sign with the Spurs, as well as Rondo, Livingston, and Tyler Zeller. Kyle O'Quinn is also happy with his role in San ANtonio.
Jared Dudley "contented" on his role being the glue guy.

Damn! Google sucks for not allowing "view image" anymore thus we cannot "insert image".
Anyway, here's the latest on Player Demands.
DeMarre DeRozan is pissed in San Antonio. But, he understands that he is under contract and is well compensated so "he'll see" what will happen before the trade deadline or IF he stays in the Alamo.
Kyrie Irving wants OUT of Phoenix. He was overheard saying, "you don't do that to someone you called franchise player, the best player on your team." Whether he gets traded before the deadline or in the off-season, he is OUT in Phoenix.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: RUSSELL WESTBROOK DEMANDS TO BE TRADED
First, we told you we will shift to a narrative league. This way, movements will be inevitable. No GM's will leave their roster as is and do not be active in improving their team as players would "demand" to get traded. Of course, these players are no ordinary players, these are the superstars of the league.
In the previous post "off-season watch: James Harden" we mentioned that "there are two superstars who are grumbling privately about their situation". Those superstars? Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook.
Now that Lillard was traded, Westbrook privately hoped that his situation would improve. Milwaukee acquired DeRozan so there was "no talk" during the February deadline but they were eliminated in the first round.
In fact, it was their worst showing in three years as, I believed they went once to the Conference Finals (correct me if I'm wrong Ben Wallace ) but nevertheless advanced past the first round the previous two years.
Add to the fact that the Lakers won the championship after bidding hard against him last off-season, Mr. Westbrook thought that "he might've missed an opportunity to be a champion."
With that, he would like a clean slate. He wants to be traded to a new team. Preferably, a team capable of winning. He firmly believes he can make any team a playoff team so that's not a problem. As long as the trade is fair (we think highly of him), he'll go there.
Would be better if he gets traded this off-season as he would like to "join the summer camp of his new team" or at the very most trade deadline. Nevertheless, he is out.
In other news: Kyrie Irving wants to be traded as well as "it's the second time this fucking organization mentioned they will trade me." Monty Williams

Is there gonna be a narrative where DeMarcus wants to join a team for the minimum too? 😂 Nah. Ha ha ha! The narrative of DMC is he'll re-sign with Detroit for max after leading them to the Eastern Conference Finals.
