Terrence Jones, former 1st rd pick (18th overall in the 2012 draft by the Rockets), and the current import for TNT Katropa in the PBA has been a huge revelation. I think he must go back to the NBA.
Why?
Based on his career stats of: 10.4 ppg 5.7 rpg 1.0 apg 0.6 spg 1.2 bpg 23.4 mins/game 50.1%/29.7%/62.1% shooting clip
In the PBA he's been averaging(Elimination round): 33.73 ppg 16.1 rpg 7.3 apg 1.5 spg 3.1 bpg 43.3 mins/game 48%/38%(on 8 attempts a game)/60% shooting clip.
He's established himself as great playmaker for his height and position, and I think that could translate into good numbers in NBA, and that's why he must come back. He rarely has post game, where in the NBA I rarely see post moves, as bigs are going for the outside shot. He has improved his gameplay in the PBA, and should be able to sign for a contending team in the NBA next season (Ex. Clippers, Lakers, Bucks, Rockets).
What's wonderful about this? He's in his prime and should be able to do damage back in the NBA.
Chris McCullough, another former 1st rd pick (29th overall by the Brooklyn Nets), and the current import for San Miguel Beer in the PBA has shown signs of him going back to the NBA. He's been riddled by injuries during his career, and he's only 24 years old.
In the NBA, he has a career stats of : 3.3 ppg 1.9 rpg 0.3 apg 0.5 spg 0.3 bpg 9 mins/game 42.6%/30.6%/54.8% shooting clip
His stats in the PBA are incredible(Elims): 33.75 ppg 14 rpg 2.8 apg 1.3 spg 2.3 bpg 37.80 mins/game 45%/31%/67% shooting clip
McCullough is still young and could be a great role player (2nd string or 3rd string 3-4 guy) in the NBA. He can shoot the lights out and has the ability to slash to the rim. He's also a great defender at the 3 and 4 slot.
What are your thoughts in this? He's young, and on his way to the prime years of his career, and I think he too must go back to the NBA.
What are your thoughts on this?

It doesn’t matter how good your stats are in a weaker league, if you’re only playing against players that are weaker, smaller and less athletic than you, those numbers won’t translate in the NBA. If you can’t play against an NBA level defense, or defend at an NBA level, you just don’t have a spot in the league. Look at Jimmer Fredette, dude averaged 50 in the CBA but couldn’t even play pass his first 10 day contract in Phoenix last season.

Jimmer can only do offense, but he definitely sucked on defense. Terrence Jones, however has made huge improvements and I think it can translate in the NBA. He just needs to improve his post game that's about, but overall he can play 4 position and small ball 5 position. In today's NBA, bigmen have good outside shooting, and Jones has the ability to hit outside shots and slash to the rim. TJ also needs to improve his handling skills. He has low asst/TO ratio.

I don’t really trust his shooting stats in the PBA and if he were to play in the NBA again I believe his shooting numbers would regress to the means as a below 30% shooter. One of his problems was that he was a terrible defender and he didn’t offer enough on offense to warrant keeping him on the floor the last time he was in the league. But I think his biggest issue is that he’s an idiot and has attitude problems and his abilities aren’t good enough for teams to want to deal with all his BS.

I believe that the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Xeries should offer them both max contracts, no trade clauses.

I'm with Drake on this one.. we dont even need to look at the current imports.. PBA meta isn't at par with NBA meta right now.. we still have the classic bigs who play hard inside.. we dont have the likes of LMA who's tall but has a lot of finesse, or players like LBJ who can play almost any position and still provide consistent numbers.. by the time our PBA gene pool will have the same talent as today's NBA, it would be about 20yrs from now, and by then the NBA would have shifted to a new meta for perhaps a third time.. Jones and McCullough can play in the PBA because their skills and size fluorishes in the PBA meta.. i say let these talents fluorish where they can so we can still see some variety in how basketball is played in different places..

For me, between Terrence and Chris, I'd go with Jones. During his time in Houston, he played his vital role alongside with Dwight Howard. If he didn't injured, his NBA career may not be affected and might not saw Capela's potential. On the other hand, Chris, we yet saw his potential during his tenure with Brooklyn due to his low minutes in action.
